Help for a Newbie

Hi from Suffolk in the UK.
Having created a new route which I have to say was extremely easy, I have a problem, which is when I send it to my BMW Navigator 6 it didn't follow the route I made, its follow the most direct route which was all duel carriageway (very annoying). I did enter a good number of waypoints in my route and when viewed on the map on my unit it shows the route I plotted, so why didn't it follow the plotted route.

The best way is to export the track to your NAV and convert the track to a route at tour device.
