Thanks, Nick. Yes, the method you described is what I am using, and it will work just fine. What I found useful in BC is that I could rest my cursor at any point along the route and see the distance from the start point. It's no big deal...I'm just a little OCD about defining rest/pee stops every 60-75 miles, lunches at mid-point, etc. ut I am having no problems converting to MRA and I LOVE the way my routes sync to my smartphone, in addition to the easy download to the Garmiin GPS.

hi @Luc-Wijdeveld welcome to the excellence that is MRA, well perhaps an exaggeration, it has it's flaws but doesn't everything, learn by your mistakes when planning a route. there a few golden rules you must stick to, otherwise your beautifully planned route will have you going down closed roads back and forward along motorways etc etc. there are some who enjoy deprecating the app, do not pay attention to them, there are those who will mention OsmAnd in every thread possible, MEH! take the advice of the route experts and all the other good advice on here. some of it will work for you others may not. my Xt has not seen daylight for over 2 years, i used an oukitel RT3 tablet without issue on many mutli day trips, always offline, i have now moved on to a carpuride 702b and not had any issues in around 4 months of use, I am using it on a multi day trip in 2 weeks. sure it will be fine, if unsure, ask on this forum someone will know the answer, ignore the nay sayers.

@Cleo thanks for reply. I've given up. The satnave gone back. Reverting back to my android phone. Nothing should be that complicated when you buy something and subscribe to a service that should be easily trasferable to a divice.

@Adrian-Jackson-0 MyRoute-app has two products. The website route planner and the mobile app. The website route planner has subscriptions for the Silver or Gold versions (Gold has all maps and a full toolkit). The mobile app is free but if you want the navigation module added (MRA Navigation Next) you have to pay a subscription.

@Banshees as said before, you need 2 subscriptions/tools: MRA Routeplanner and MyRoute-App on mobile device. I have used several other tools before, but since I use MyRoute-App I'm happy at all. Try it and lern - you will become happy too
