How to add a new favorite using my current location?

iOS and MRA latest.
I was out today and found a great cafe so I wanted to add it to my favorites or as a POI.
There doesn't seem to be a way of simpy doing this, I tried tapping and holding my location but it put a mag glass nowhere near where I was pressing, the blue dot is where I was, the mag glass is on the other side of the road.
So I thought I'll save that location and then adjust it once back on my PC using the website but it wouldn't save and gave an error "Something went wrong", I was in offline mode due to bad data signal, I would expect it to save offline and then sync once back online, I tried numerous times and got the same error each time so gave up.
It would be good it there was an option/button to save the current location as a new favorite or POI.
I just tested it at home with MRA set to Offline but I do have Wifi and it worked fine so this is related to no data signal.
