Issues since the 5.1.0-462 update / Crashes and lag

@Andries According to the information I have, there should be a function or app on the NOR7E called ‘manage’. This app controls the hardware components.
In the ‘controller’ settings, the cable connection should be disabled; this prevents conflicts between the cable and Bluetooth.
If you opt for the cable connection, you’ll be too tied to the DMD system and limited to certain apps.
Yes that is correct for as far i can remember. Thats why i use bluetooth so i can switch between f1 and f2. The dmd2 nav uses f1 and mra uses f2. As long as the temperature outside is below 32°C. I can work with mra.
If you try dmd2 and there upgrade dmd2 next has some interesting features for planning and interface that you can setup like you want. The next is still in progress but looks nice and smooth to navigate.@Andries Thank you for your confirmation.
I received the NOR7E yesterday and have already installed and set everything up.
The Bluetooth connection to the C1 is also set up.
F2 works with MRA
F1 works with DMD 2I just need to look into the commands for DMD 2 in more detail, as some of the actions are different here compared to MRA

I check the Play Store every day, hoping to see an update for MRA, because on Wednesday morning we’re setting off on the Routes des Grandes Alpes, and if the app keeps crashing – as it has done so far – it won’t be any fun and I’ll be annoyed.
And it won’t just be me who’ll be annoyed, but also my four friends, who all use MRA too. Oh well, we’ll see – as they say, hope dies last.

Please try to drive completely offline, whilst there’s no guarantee, personally, I’ve had fewer problems – or, to be precise, no problems at all – when driving offline so far.You’ll need to manually bypass any roadblocks, but apart from that, this setting has caused me the least trouble so far.

Thank you very much for pointing that out and for the tip. What exactly does ‘driving offline’ mean? Will I no longer receive traffic jam alerts, or what exactly is the disadvantage – or indeed the advantage – of doing so?

You must ensure that you have downloaded all the countries you intend to travel through on your trip to France.

To navigate completely offline, simply enable offline navigation in the navigation settings.

If, for example, a road closure occurs due to roadworks, the MRA will NOT automatically route you round the roadworks but will simply alert you to the closure with a red icon; you’ll need to find a detour manually (though that shouldn’t really be a problem).
A tip from me...
Before setting off each day, have a look at that day’s route online whilst having breakfast; that way, you can see in advance if there are any diversions (the white line of the original route would be visible in the event of a diversion).
If you spot a deviation, you can double-check on Google Maps to see if the road closure is actually in place; if so, you could manually adjust the waypoints yourself.
It takes about 5 minutes over breakfast
If no road closure is visible online, you don’t need to do anything else.
You just need to switch to offline navigation before setting off.

Online travel mode.After about 260 km, the app crashed and only the Android device’s home screen was visible.
After I reopened MRA, I had to tap ‘Navigate’ and everything was fine again for the rest of the day.
