Issues since the 5.1.0-462 update / Crashes and lag

My DMD-NOR7E is being delivered tomorrow

Then I’ll test straight away to see if the crashes might be down to the hardware.
-
Today: 340 km in just under 6 hours from Hamburg to Eschwege, near Kassel—many sections of the route required frequent navigation instructions (very less highway, mostly country roads). Everything went smoothly; the track log could be saved.

@Peter-Zehentreiter If it were the hardware's fault, we should all change devices...

@Andries You said everything was fine on the first day – how were the other days?
Did you use online or offline navigation?

I have the Nor7E for about couple of mounths and this is a great device!! Coming from a chigee AOI6 and it's a huge improvement.2 weeks ago i did the update to 5.2.0 and did not experience any troubles on a trip for 6h.
This week a went on a 5 day trip to france and for day 1 everything was working properly.
Day 2 the problems starting to appear. After 1h riding i seen the lag on the navigation. If i touch the screen it doesn't respond directly. I had to wait and then i could move the map. Same if you wan to press an icon you had wait for 2s.
Temperatur was 32°C outside.A friend of my was driving with iphone 15 pro max with chigee AOI6 mention the same problem but even worse!
The first thing that i thought was the high temperature sow i ask my friend if he could put his phone in his jacket so it can cool down. For him this was the solution.
The only thing that i could do is make GPX and used the DMD app that is installed on the Nor7E.
The DMD app worked flawlessly and smooth in combination with the Silverfox C1.Today I am trying in my office the MRA navigation and there is lag when i move the map or zoom in/out.
Please let me know how it works for you.
Regards

Andries@Andries Thanks for your detailed report.
At least you didn’t experience any navigation dropouts, which I find quite remarkable.
My device is still with DHL and will be delivered on Monday… I’ll definitely let you know how it performs for me.
Did you connect the C1 via Bluetooth, or did you connect the controller using a cable?

i have connect it via bluetooth.
Don't forget to change the setting to F1 and not F2 for MRA.
The controller in combination with DMD2 works beter and is configurable. -
Today I navigated 500 km in just under 6 hours from the Kassel area back home—a total of 3 crashes: the first after about 1 hour and 15 minutes, the second after about 2.5 hours, and the last one just before reaching my destination. The app closed on my phone, but after reopening it, I was able to continue navigating. Once again, the track log couldn’t be saved. Sent the log files to support this evening.
