Compass is not working properly

Hello,
I’m currently travelling around the Baltic States and have planned and completed my first ever trip using MRA exclusively.
So far, it’s worked almost flawlessly. MRA can’t be blamed for the fact that HERE maps aren’t updated as quickly as people here are building roads.
I set off using version 5.04 and then updated to 5.1 whilst on the road – a very brave/reckless move on my part.

After the update, I switched on the altitude display with the compass. I noticed that the compass isn’t working properly. North/south is OK, but it has problems with east/west – in other words, it displays it mirrored. If I drive north-west, it shows north-east. If I drive east, it shows west.
I’ve already calibrated my sat-nav smartphone and compared it with my second smartphone; both devices have the same issue.

Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

The sat-nav is running on a Pocophone F1; my second smartphone is a Pixel 7 Pro.

Bij mij werkt die goed, maar ik moest er wel soms extra over nadenken, noord en zuid zijn eenvoudig maar het leek erop dat oost en west niet goed ging, maar toen ik erbij stil stond begreep ik het wel en klopte het stiekem wel. Als ik naar het oosten rij dan is het noorden links van mij en zal daar dus het rode gedeelte moeten staan.

First of all, thanks a lot – I could have worked that out for myself.
I had a look at it today, armed with my newfound wisdom, and to me it’s neither self-explanatory nor particularly helpful. Especially as there’s a duplicate with the compass on the right-hand side.
I switched the display off after a while.

Maybe I’ll get used to it eventually.

I dont understand what's the problem. The coloured section is always North so the section left off that is West. There's no indication on that compass what is East or West zo what do you mean with its mirrored

Hello everyone,
People often say that the problem is sitting in front of the screen, and that seems to be the case for me and the supposed problem described above.
I’ve now understood what was meant by the compass – thank you for clarifying that.
As I usually ride with the map oriented north, especially in unfamiliar terrain, the compass is of less importance to me.
