@CD130 The block can only be removed by system admins and is only triggered using your device limit + 2 different devices (so 4 in default scenario) within the same month.

I have a question about the "same month". When will a device be removed from the list? On the moment that the specific device is not used anymore for 1 month? Or will the number of devices be reset on a specific date (e.g. 1st day of the month) for the devices not used in that month? In the latter case it can take upto 2 months minus 1 day before a device is removed.

I really do understand why a limit is needed. But this is a pretty unpleasant way to implement it.
Today I needed to use my wife’s phone for a drive. So I tried logging out of MRA on my phone but her phone got blocked regardless.
I would have thought the way to manage this is the way Netflix and others do it: if you log out from one device you can log in on another; and the account control panel contains the ability to see what devices have licences and revoke them remotely. Having to email support is a clumsy approach.

@Anonymouse The easiest thing to do would be to send an email to support and ask if there's a way to use more than 2 devices.
This will give you more flexibility in setting up your devices.
You'll definitely get a reply

Yes I see that support can help. But a better design would be self-service so if we need to rush out the door with a borrowed phone etc AND don’t need more than two devices simultaneously, we can still log one off and another in without burdening support or waiting for support hours.

@Anonymouse If you plan to do that, you'd be using more than two registered devices... and in principle, you could use any number of devices that way.
My first message was meant to ask support whether you can legally use additional devices without having to log in and out, for an extra fee.
I did that, and they helped me.

Because there were plenty of a$$holes who paid for one licence that was then used by all the motorcycle club members , the motorcycle club members wifes, the motorcycle club members mistresses, their family ....
and as MRA is a company needing an income this is not sustainable.
The easy solution for you: get an extra licence for your wife.
