Multi day plan | Hotel stop time doesn't get added
-
I'm planning a 2 day ride with overnight stop.
I put inserted a 'pause' of 06h00m at the hotel location.
But the total time - up to the destination - does not adjust.
The total miles are correct, but the arrival time assumes there is no 6h pause. Is there anything I need to be doing for a extended hotel stay pause to show on the total time of the trip?

@Rakesh-Rao you only stay for 6 hours in the hotel? You arrive at 02:00 am and leave at 08:00 am?
Just split the route in 2, for every day one and your problem is solved. -
Total ride is 2000miles minimum. My route is 2146miles. 2 days. Around 1000 miles each day. 6hr stop just to get some rest and head back.
I’ve used that method of splitting before. But on thi ride it is important to have the correct times / especially at destination.

Can you share the route?

@Rakesh-Rao
Why adding a break/pause when you stay at a hotel for 6 hours?Divide the route over the 2 days. 1 Route from home to hotel and 1 route for the next day from hotel back to home (or whatever).
This is what i also normally do when going for a motortrip. I make trips for a fews days and divide the route over the planned days and even break the route at stops for lunch break.
The advantage i have then is:
a) i'm not stuck whit local time, no problems with local time.
b) my routes are much clearer and more organized
c) with smaller routes the chances of errors are reducedI never liked it to have 1 big route mainly due to the fact that is lesser organized and lesser clear and more prone to errors and mistakes.
This is my opinion ofcourse.

@Rakesh-Rao, adding a pause time is a typical planner thing, it does not replicate to Navigation.
