Waypoints niet zichtbaar op Garmin XT

Ik maak mijn routes op de computer en synchronisatie met MRA Next naar m'n telefoon vindt realtime plaats. Vanaf m'n telefoon exporteer ik de routes naar m'n Garmin XT via Garmin Drive als 1.2 (route, track en POI). Mijn POI's zijn doorgaans een koffie-, tank- of lunchstop, die ik hernoem met de naam van de betreffende lokatie en een andere kleur geef. Echter, tijdens het navigeren worden de POI's niet getoond op m'n Garmin XT, behalve het eindpunt. Elk advies is welkom

Zou je de betreffende route willen delen? Zorg dat deze openbaar staat. De url van de route is genoeg om te delen

The xt will import viapoints/waypoints as flags from MRA and shaping points as blue dots if you import the route as GPX 1.1 but it will recalculate the route so make sure that you put as many shaping (waypoints) as required to stick to the planned route. If you enable track visibility in the XT you can see if the recalculated route has been modified from the intended route. To enable the POI to be seen on the XT it needs to be included as a Waypoint in MRA not just as a POI. If you use GPX 1.2 switch off automatic recalculation as if you go off route the unit will take you to the next Via point of the end of the route (if there are no via points between your position and the end). But depending on your XT settings it might take you on main roads when your intention is to take backroads. That's why I use GPX 1.1 as a recalculation will enerally take you to the next closest shaping point.

POI’s are storend in saved places

@PA.-Vis-0 weet je zeker, dat je POI's én viapoints (handjes) hebt aangemaakt en niet alleen viapoints?

I see only via points, you can add POI’s via the left menu. Go to points of interest en check these who you want to see. Then zoom in on the map and Rick + to add a poi to the route

Op die manier krijg ik alleen dat soort POI op de kaart te zien, maar kan ik een door mij geselecteerde locatie (handje met relevant symbool, bv koffie) niet als POI aanmerken.

Nee, dat wordt getoond als een vlaggetje, je kunt natuurlijk wel een POI toevoegen aan dat viapunt

Dat bedoelde ik dus, je hebt alleen een viapunt aangelegd. POI's aanmaken is een extra handelingen zoals mijn grote vriend Hans heeft beschreven.
