6.0 Via Point announced as reached even though I did not reach it

Full disclosure: Via point functions are key to my MRA nav use.
I upgraded to 6.0 and ran the following route (showing only a portion):
If I intentionally miss the turn going to vp 7, its announces vp 7 as reached ............. and continues to direct me back to vp 7.
This seems like a bug to me. Or is there a new setting in 6.0 that I need to change ?

It depends on the distance you had to the viapoint.
Best to create a support ticket with full information and the app logs. You can het the logs by long pressing the version number at the bottom of the account page.
Please mention I requested this information.
I do presume you now have the latest version 6.0.0 - 532). -
this also happens with shaping points in release 5. I reported it a long time ago, but the issue was closed without any info.
