Problems route planning on Ipad

Hi all.
I (try) and plan routes using an IPad Pro 19”. However, the screen goes haywire when I try zooming in/out looking for POI’s or places generally. It will not stay where I try and place it and continues to move in or out. It’s driving me crazy and makes planning all but impossible.
This does not happen on my wife’s windows lap top.
Any ideas?

@Richard-Jewell-0 If you are using the Safari browser, try using a different browser like Chrome or FireFox.

I’m with you on this one - we travel with an iPad Pro so are often route-planning on that device.

There seem to be several issues with the website on an iPad, some of which are external to MRA but it would be great if the developers could take a look. The main ones that I encounter are:

(A) all the waypoints vanish from the map. Refreshing the page brings them back. This seems to happen with other apps too, so I suspect it is not an MRA specific issue.

(B) zooming by pinching the screen can cause the entire window to zoom, including all the control panels, rather than just the map. This is often irrecoverable, requiring re-opening the website. I have discovered that this happens very often when the current map layer is Google maps, so I now only use OpenStreetMap.

Sorry, these are topics of the settings of the iOS and the iPad, I don't know these problems, because I use the iPad 9 again and again. Generation currently with iOS 26.2 without problems.

So check the settings, because maybe wrong set or adjusted by the iOS update VG

This happens more with satelite layers, rather than Michelin or OSM.

Changing layers corrects this behavior, but sometimes not.
