R1250GS. Started with a Zumo 550, BMW nav IV, Carpe-iter and now Chigee met MRA app.

Guys, sorry to come to this late - I have just bought a Honda NT1100 and my head is in pieces trying to sort the set up process to get MRA nav through AA using Sena SMH5 headsets for me and my pillion. Nav instructions most important but need normal intercom and would like music lowered/stopped for Nav instructions.

AI gives me various strategies but none seem to work - any advice how to get things working properly would be treasured. From this thread have just downloaded 5.2.1-488
                Thanks in hope.

I have an Africa Twin (Same screen as the NT) and use a Cardo Packtalk Bold. To get the nav via AA connected, I connect the Headset to the Bike and the phone to the bike (no connection from the phone to the headset directly). I connect my wife's cardo headset to my headset. Solo I listen to music via AA using either Musicolet (Offline) or Spotify. I haven't tried music two up. No Idea if the Sena will set up similarly.

I can only give you some advise from what i have learned from the Goldwing 2018+.

The Goldwing and Bluetooth intercom is very tricky. Bluetooth intercom can cause the bluetooth connection between the riders headset and AA/ACP unit to break. I switched to a mesh headset and this problem was solved.

First clear your motorcycle and headset with from all previous paired devices
                    2.
Connected/pair the riders headset to the bike.
                    3.
Connect the phone for AA/ACP to the bike with a proper cable (OEM cable is prefered).
                    4.
                    Make sure everything works.
                    5.
Connect the pillion headset to the riders headset. And test this with a proper ride.

                    Just like @mzokk said:
DON'T PAIR THE AA/ACP PHONE TO THE HEADSET.

This is the basic setup. From here you can expand further. But be aware Bluetooth is not the most stable platform with multiple devices connected.

Thanks for quick response. One question, when in (2) you say pair riders headset to the bike - by this do you mean pair to the Honda TFT screen's audio link and NOT to AA? Much of the other stuff I've found says definitely not to connect to the bike and connect headsets to the AA headset request - are you saying that is that wrong?
In any case I'm up for trying anything so will have a go tomorrow.๐Ÿ‘

In case of NT1100 i can be wrong (i don't think so) but AA/ACP is just a part of the TFT screen. Follow the steps on your TFT screen to pair the headset.
Do not pair your phone to TFT screen. AA/ACP take care of that procedure. Only the headset
