Choice for starting point of a route

@Rob-Verhoeff Rob, Thanks!
Like I said, I am aware of that option, but I was hoping for 1 click option....

I donβt think youβve understood what Rob was trying to tell you.
This one-click function is also available in MRA.

You can only select a starting point if you navigate a route as route. If you navigate as track than the starting point is always the first point. In an earlier release this difference was not there.

Yes, I know that you can skip the Waypoints or tap a Waypoint from which you want to start from the Waypoints menu, but.... it's too much work for a simple thing.
Garmin has a very convenient feature where it asks you where you want to start navigating from:
Start of the Route OR A Nearest Waypoint.
One touch deal! Very Convenient!Is there a chance we can have that in our MRA Nav?
Thx!@Lenny-O really, too much trouble to tap a wp to skip?

@Lenny-O How many buttons do you want on your screen to control everything with a single click? I think changing the starting point of your route is a simple and straightforward way to do it!

@RetiredWingMan It is not troble to skip one, but annoying if you have to skip many.

Thank you all for your thoughts, but I think you all are missing my point....
It's not about me, not about criticizing the App, not about me not knowing my options...
All I am saying is that MRA knows where I am and the route I am taking.
Just offering to start from the nearest Waypoint, like Garmin does, would be nice to have. Even if as a little pop-up.
All I am suggesting is a user-friendly way to start a route. I think that would make the App easier to use and be more appreciated.
So, no sarcasm or passive-agressive coments are needed.
I am trying to suggest something that would benefit everyone, at least in my mind.Also, @herman-veldhuizen is absolutely correct in his statement. And that brings another twist into starting somewhere else other than the Start of the route.

@Nick-Carthew Thanks, Nick! That's what I needed!!!

And I see that it works whether you navigate the Route as a Track or just navigate a Route!
Perfect!

That's great. Where is it documented in the support pages? I looked but couldn't find it.
Thanks

Iβm not sure that it is documented yet.
