turning of the screen when standing stil

Hi all,
can it be made so that the screen of the route-app does not turn and keep spinning when there is no movement?
Mostly this is of course at a crossing (trafficlights). At a simple crossing not a big problem, but at a more complex crossing it is a huge problem.
Also a huge problem at round-a-bouts.thanks in advance.

I had a trip today through a few towns with lots of traffic lights. Having the screen constantly rotate whenever you have to stop is really annoying.
Once or twice, the route was even recalculated via a side street.
It’s great news that the problem will soon be fixed. -

HI all,
Based on my observations, when MRA doesn't detect movement, it always looks for the direction, among all available streets, that points furthest north.
I don't know the reason for this behavior, but it occurs in 95% of the cases I've observed.
I don't know if this helps identify the part of the code involved in this behavior.

As a quick work-around I have the map aligned north-up, but I don't like it. If anyone has an idea when this fix is rolling out that would be awesome. I mean its a motorcycle not a swivel-chair. If I came to a stop, just pin the map until I get moving again.

@Corjan-Meijerink Is a estimation / timeline available for when 5.1 might be expected? I seem to remember having read the "end of March" as a date somewhere.

5.1 will be in the latter part of April unfortunately.
My wedding and moving the MRA office took up some time
Edit: Expecting Alpha next week and Beta after that based on the results. This update has quite some big changes.

Hope end of this week, early next week.
Practically finished Alpha testing.HERE has not yet fixed the issue so no changes regarding this issue. They fixed it but introduced another issue preventing us to update.

@Bouke-Ent if they released it with that version of the SDK, yes.
Not sure however what SDK versions they used in their released apps. Then it’s still a slightly device specific issue too.

my both android have it. one more then te other. i found that also strange. this weekend i will look at it again besides iphone.
