Good day. Yesterday went out for a 5 hr ride (first decent day in quite a while). Loaded my route, rode, stopped for a break and paused navigation. Started right up again no problem. Even exited the route for a short distance. MRA performed flawless.

I am on season opening in the Sauerland area and led 2 different group: 1 group with 7 bikes behind me and the oother one with 6: Even with sometimes lost online connection, both tours have been perfect: MRA App switches smoothly between on- and offline mode without any problems for me.

So a +1 for me: MRA: The Hassle-Free APP

I can also confirm all this, I am very satisfied, compared to the market MRA is for me the best app for navigation, also everything that is important for planning is available in the app and the route lab.

The track recording is a very good function including pictures on the track can be added automatically.

I’d have to agree: I’ve been using MRA Routeplanner for many years – out of conviction! Despite searching high and low, I haven’t found a better app for journey planning. It includes everything you need: for before, during, and after a journey.

I also use MRA Navigation – because this app, too, offers everything you could want for navigation – for on-road navigation. And also because there’s no need to transfer data from the planning stage to navigation via a GPX file.

For off-road riding, however, I use other tools alongside it...

Just back from 3 days on the west of Ireland. MyRoute app was rock solid.

I am in basic also very happy with MRA and MRA Next. It is for common road planning and navigation a very good tool.

For planning a bike ride MRA uses OSM bike maps but for riding i switch to komoot. MRA Next supports only follow the track.

For backroads, eastern europe, italian mountains,etc (non common roads for Here) i switch to OSM Maps and to OSM apps. This is not MRA Next related because off the limits of Here maps.

I’m more than happy to join the chorus of positive feedback about MRA here, and I do so with full conviction.

For a long time, I used MRA but also continued to use TomTom Rider at the same time. Years ago, I relied more on TomTom than on MRA. The system was simply more mature.

In the meantime, however, MRA has improved so much that I now solely use MRA on my new BMW C 650 GT maxi-scooter. (I’m currently in the process of selling my BMW R 1200 RT. I practically never utilized its high power, and here almost all roads are limited to 70 km/h. Therefore, the maxi-scooter is more than sufficient.)

In the past, I also licensed Calimoto. Due to its customer-unfriendly licensing policy and lack of response to suggestions for improvement, I no longer use this app. The planning capabilities are also significantly more limited than those of MRA.

In addition to MRA’s increasingly better planning and navigation capabilities, I also really like that there’s a forum for a technically high-quality exchange of ideas. I also appreciate that suggestions for improvement are welcomed.

MRA has certainly evolved into a fairly complex system that offers a wide range of possibilities—you almost can’t get by without an engineering qualification . But that’s part of the fun of our hobby.

So, keep up the great work! Thanks to the enthusiastic MRA team .

Wow, that's a lot of feathers... good to hear!
