Update 5.0 - Release candidate 2, build 424
-
Hi all

The almost definitive release version is now in beta.
We know for sure another version will be released to solve a minor issue discovered internally and this reported issue.Due to an ongoing discussion, I will also perhaps add the option to show a waypoint list while navigating a route as track because that makes sense I think

Please report your final feedback this weekend

What changed since the last version (422)?
- Tracklog upload stability. Some things really were not working as expected.
- Automatically set correct name for tracklog (when following the line or navigating a route)
- Position indicator behavior when starting / stopping behavior
- Keyboard overlapping some text fields that could be shown while navigating (such as changing tracklog name / editing favorite)
- Prevent tapping / long pressing on the map while navigating a track
- Fixed broken resume navigation
Have a great Friday / weekend.
Corjan@Corjan-Meijerink You da man

@Corjan-Meijerink
I can well imagine what you've been through this week.
Always those annoying users who find every little mistake.
It's impressive how you manage to get everything done under such stress.
My respect!

That whatsapp group with 4 devils providing instant feedback sometimes is a hell indeed

I found and installed the update this morning. I took it for a short drive today. No problems except for one oddity: when I stopped at an intersection (traffic light), the map would regularly lose its direction and start spinning. I didn't notice this in the previous 4.x.x version. Now it was noticeable. It made it difficult to orientate yourself for the rest of the route. When I drove off, it was fixed after a few meters!
Vanmorgen inderdaad de update gevonden en geïnstalleerd. Vandaag er even kort mee gereden.

@white.mouse : I can confirm exactly that; it only happens from version 5.0 onwards, and only if you stop like you did, but I only stopped very briefly yesterday.
It's great that you mentioned it here!

I did see it also on the previous V5 version. I thought it was caused by my change of GPS sensor for Android Auto. But it seems i'm not the only one who noticed it.
The problem occurs only when you stop not when you're riding. Maybe even you're driving in very slow traffic. But that is something i'm not sure of.
