Harley Davidson Skyline OS for 2024/25 model Street and Road Glides.
-
I have recently taken delivery of a new Harley Davidson CVO Roadglide, This bike uses the new since 2024 Skyline OS, on a fantastic large TFT display. However, I am finding some real shortfalls in the Navigation function of this system! I have been using MRA route planning for a number of years, and used it with the previous HD GTS Boombox system very successfully. With the new system I have successfully transfered routes and tracks across to the bike, which show up seperately named. However, both look like tracks with no visible milestones when I zoom out, and no "skip waypoint" functionality.
Has anyone encountered this problem and got any further withthe system?
I have exported a route (GPX 1.2) with a mix of shaping points and via points, but still no waypoints showing up on the bike.
Any help would be appreciated! -

Any help would be appreciated!@Rob-Lindsay I can’t help much, but I can say that .gpx 1.2 is designed to show only via points (hand shape) it will use shaping points (teardrop shape) but will not show them on screen.

@Nick-Carthew Thanks Nick. Yes I guess that is what i was trying to determine, if this new OS would treat the Via points as visible waypoints, since shaping points are not visible. So far I can't get any output that results in visible waypoints.

@Rob-Lindsay I would guess that the Skyline is treating your route as a track. A track only has a start and end point with no intermediary points.
