    Hi everybody,

I recently got a new Carpe Iter tablet (Android 13) and I’m having an issue every time I try to navigate a route (created in the planner) with the app: the navigator freezes as soon as I start the navigation and then force closes.

I’ve tried reinstalling the app and even starting navigation while connected to Wi-Fi, but the problem persists. I also have the maps downloaded.

I’ve also tried changing several settings. In addition, I tested navigating offline and the offline maps are downloaded correctly.

The app and the same route work fine on other devices.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
    Regards.

I have had freeze up issues on an outikel android device and discovered that for some reason the gps module stops communicating with MRA. I found that if I ran a GPS monioring app in the background then MRA would not freeze up. I have no idea why this works but it seems to solve the freeze up problem that I was getting. I did not have such a severe freeze up problem though as yours . The MRA nav app would freeze after an hour or so of riding.

@Juan-Domingo-Reinaldos, I think for these kind of problems it is wise to submit a support ticket. You will be asked to send in a logfile which will likely reveal what exactly goes wrong.

I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

          Hello
I have experienced both of these problems. On the Carpe Iter it would freeze mostly shortly after loading the route but occasionally while riding (usually when approaching a complicated motorway junction!). On each occasion a restart of the tablet "fixed" the problem. On my Oukitel device it only froze during a journey. Again a restart "fixed" the problem. I've noticed particularly on the Carpe Iter that it sometimes stops tracking the route for a short period but then jumps to the correct position, which is what I would expect to happen if contact was lost with the GPS module. Did a support ticket get raised for this - I couldn't find one.
