Help with Android settings

Recently had an issue with my phone, had to re-load some apps and MRA was one of them. I have been using MRA for a few months and feel I have got pretty decent on routing routes. Did a little over 2200 miles and most of it was OK with MRA. Been on multiple local rides and all has been pretty decent. After the re-download of the app, hasn't been good. We went out on Sunday and this thing would not hold the route I planned, kept re-routing wanted me to take roads that weren't even on the route I planned. So please tell me do I have something wrong in my phone settings? Is there a way to shut off the route they wanna take me and only follow the route I want to go? Thank you for your help, please explain (if cell phone has wrong settings, why they are wrong) Screenshot_20250811_150626.jpg

I had a similar problem on my last trip. I restarted MRA and the route several times. Nothing helped. Eventually, I switched to Google Maps. And then I got a message saying that it was searching for the GPS! Strange, but then I restarted the phone. And lo and behold . . .
the problem was gone!
So it's not always MRA's fault! . .
probleem was over!
