Waypoints are skipped and route settings are changed

Hello everyone,
Yesterday I used the MyRoute app for navigation for the first time and encountered two serious problems:- Waypoints are apparently skipped at random, even though "Automatically skip waypoints" is turned off in the settings (red). After accidentally driving between two waypoints in the wrong direction, the route start point was suddenly activated again!?
- On the way home I only entered my destination (so probably track navigation) and selected the curvy option. When I deviated from the route even slightly (filling up, making a wrong turn), the curvy option disappeared again and the app wanted to direct me onto the motorway.
What am I doing wrong - I can't use the app like this?

Unfortunately there is no option "Edit", only "Bookmark", Copy Permalink" and "Flag this post".
Perhaps I have to change something in the settings?? -

@Corjan-Meijerink today 4th of April I had the same issue as in the first post (1st para) described. My version is 4.3.8. Is that already the version which fixed the mentioned problem. Or otherwise have I to change settings. Thank you in advance for an answer. Thomas

Same here… was out for a ride today, me on the Zumo XT2 which was spot on for a change!!!
My mate on AA on the Carpuride through his Samsung mobile, was working flawlessly then we stopped for lunch… oh dear!!! Should never of bothered from there all the way home it was error after error , frozen maps, removing the app and reinstalling it, wanting to go back to the start… this I cannot get my head around if connected to a mobile phone just carry on with the guidance from the phones location unless I’m missing something?? And yes everything up to date, HERE maps used etc etcVery very frustrating as we’re both pretty good with all things tech wise! We could not get the navigation to resume (in the right direction) whatever we did.
