how to force a route to take shortest distance between two waypoints
-
when entering a new waypoint on a route how do i force myroute to use the shortest distance between the previous way point and the current waypoint i am trying to set?
sometimes i experience myroute retracing the route backwards and doing a large loop between the previous waypoint and the current waypoint i am trying to set.

@David-Ghosh You'll find that in the roolkit under RouteOptimalisation, then choose fastest

@David-Ghosh Add a route point on the roads that you want to use is the best option.

@David-Ghosh when something like that happens, 90% chance it's due to that particular street situation (one-way street, off-road, seasonal closure, limited traffic etc). So make sure settings are all good.
If nothing of this helps, the way to force a straight line is to press the waypoint and then select "skip"
