Transport mode Motorcycle and OSM not compatible?

Hi,
If I select Motorcycle as transportation mode I get a warning when switching to OSMaps that this mode is only compatible with HERE maps.. Why is that?With HERE maps you can't set level of curvy roads by sections, there is no option to avoid cities, etc... Thanks!

That’s because the entire app is based on Here maps. Not only the planner, but also the navigation engine.

@Matjaz-Valjavec Change your transport mode to car. I doubt whether you’ll see any difference.

@Nick-Carthew Yeah, that's the question really... what is the difference between car and motorcycle mode? I'am aware that somwhere in Germany (for example) motorcycles are not alowed - maybe that is the reason for having this two modes sparated?

@Matjaz-Valjavec Yes, and the Netherlands also has motorcycle restrictions on some roads but I’m not sure how effective the motorcycle mode is at preventing the use of these roads.

It isn´t at all. At least in Germany. I bet the main issue is that most road blocks in Germany are only for specific periods of time (e.g. weekend).
