auto zoom in different modes

It looks like "auto zoom" (while navigating) works only in 3D mode but not in 2D mode. Am I right?

Hi @Marinus-van-Deudekom are you sure about this?
I may be wrong but I interpert 2D as top down mode & in this thread

& in the help they seem to say auto zoom only functions in the two 3D modes, north up & heading up

Thanks for referencing this post - that's exactly what my experiences are. Most of the time, it's just about the correct wording

I've just learned we have three modes that can be cycled with the compass button:

• "top-down" (heading up) with fixed zoom
• "dynamic" (heading up and tilted) with auto zoom
• "north up" - according to @Corjan-Meijerink with auto zoom either (need to recheck this)
