myroute doesn't regognize road
-
Hi, other than "kurviger" or google maps, myroute doesn't regognize the following roads (France, Rhône-Alpes):
- Between Chantelouve and La Poute (D526)
- Route du Col de Sarenne, which continues from Alpes d'Huez, then turns down to Mizoën.
It's a pity, makes the app it useless for this route. What can I do or is it a bug?
Thanks for hints

Hi @Tom-Balmer. It would help if you gave a little more info and perhaps shared your route on here (make sure that privacy is set to public). What map are you using on MRA? Do you have seasonal closures turned on/off? Is there a temporary closure and diversion in place?
It would be easy to solve for you if you shared your route. -
@Nick-Carthew Oh, yes, of course. Just did it share: https://www.myrouteapp.com/de/social/route/3717847?mode=share
I'm not aware to have turned on a seasonal closure, wouldn't know how. The first problem between waypoints 70 and 71 is a gap on the D526; the second one between 76 and 77 could actually be because of seasonal closure. Where can I check that?
And: I'm using the standard openstreetmap. -
Disable seasonal closures at the Here Map.

I don't got this option, I'm not using the Gold version...
So it's a problem of my standard account and openstreetmap? -
When I use either the TomTom or Here map your route is ok. The picture below is the TomTom map (in black) showing the standard OpenStreet map route in blue. There is obviously a problem with the OpenStreet map and because it is open source data, there isn't much that MRA can do. You could choose to have a gold account and all of the benefits that a gold account offers. You can have a free All In One trial for 14 days that includes MRA Navigation too.
You haven't said which navigation device that you will be using? If you download the .gpx 1.1 files for this route and add them to a TomTom, it should follow the track of the picture below. -
@Reinhard-32 That doesn't solve all of the problems.

@Nick-Carthew Thanks Nick
