OFF LINE NAVIGATION

When I download maps for offline use it works but after a while it no longer works because for those maps there is an update available that can only be downloaded via wifi so you are forced to look for a wifi network and download all the maps again to use them. This is a problem if you are in countries where the wifi connection is not available and moreover it must also be fast to download many gigabytes of offline maps. Another problem is that it often (both online and offline) loses the signal and I have to wait up to 1 minute for it to recover and this is not good if you are traveling within a city with many intersections

The notification about new maps being available is independent of the fact that you should still be able to navigate offline. Even though new maps are available, you should be able to continue navigating as usual.
Can you explain the exact steps you take and on which platform/device you are using the app?
It's also strange that you're experiencing signal loss while navigating offline! You shouldn't have any signal loss when navigating offline, right? Or perhaps you mean that when you switch from online to offline navigation and vice versa, there are issues with the navigation continuing seamlessly? There have been discussions about that in other topics, and I believe that subject is still under investigation. -
@Giuseppe-Marino, Rob is right, I know from experience that navigation has no problems with downloaded maps being older than available online. Maybe you can show us the error or a screenshot from where your problem occurs. It will most likely have another reason than map-updates.
If with "signal loss" you mean the automatic switching between offline and online use, that has been reported before. I sometimes experience this apparently when starting a route under wifi-conditions, but after leaving the driveway, navigating under cellular network conditions. It occurs erratically and seems difficult to pinpoint.
