      Hello,
I would like to suggest considering the option "guide through the neighbourhood of selected point". I use tomtom rider and often, when I want to force going by some city without picking any specific addresse, just to force the direction, I am selecting simply center of the city. There would be nice to have an option to drive not precisely by this point, which is sometimes pointless, but by nearest good route.

@Stanisław I think that strategically placing a waypoint in the routeplanner can solve your problem.

@Drabslab you are right, having the route planner in the same device can solve many problems. I remember this option from one of navigation applications I used in the past and I liked it. Anyway it is not so important.

I think NEXT is going to do just that but preparing a route will always be easier on a larger screen than ona tiny phone/GPS screen.

I am a bit old fashioned and my routes are all completely finished at least amonth before the holiday starts 🙂 I rarely do spur of the moment changes

@Drabslab usually I do exactly the same, that's why having prepared routes accessible instantly for the navigation is so nice to me 🙂
ANyway, sometimes there is a need to do some improvisation on the way, without having bigger screen.

I think that the "auto-skip waypoint" if you are not hitting that center-of-town waypoint will do exactly what you want already in the current app.

I am just an enthusiastic user, and hope you will be one too!

@Con-Hennekens Not exactly, because I would not know which way use by the center of the town. Tne navigation should propose me correct route (maybe using some bypass) but not exactly by the picked point. Anyway, using mobile route planner is enough precise to pick a point on bypass etc, so maybe it is not so needed as I supposed.

This is the first time ever I've seen someone request the opposite of "avoid cities". Never thought of it, but perhaps a good idea. I'm guessing that as some kind of touristy ride you'd like to go through city/village centres? It actually sounds pretty fun.

Don't get me wrong though, we're not implementing this right away because I said it sounds fun. It is, however, a nice and inspiring suggestion.

@Timo-Martosatiman-MRA My intention was to force putting the route by the city, not knowing any precise addresse, only as transit. For example I'd like to go from location A to B by city C - so I am finding C by seek mechanizm and then I don't want to enter any street name (because I don't have any idea which one) nor city center which is mostly main square. It would be only a general directive for routing.
For sure it can stay for one of the final phases of the application development 🙂
