New MRA Mobile Update 3.1.0!

Those who follow us know that we are a relatively small company with a passion for travel and technology. Sometimes we are so enthusiastic and want to do something so fast that we don't prepare a new release well enough. This is (unfortunately) what happened with the release of MyRoute app Mobile 3.0 on 27 May 2022, so you can see it as a disadvantage...

But, the big advantage is that we can take action quickly, no management layers, no decision protocols and procedures. Just listen to the community, grit your teeth and get on with it.

That's exactly what we have been doing for the last few weeks and that's why we now proudly and confidently present: MyRoute app Mobile 3.1.0!

This new version includes, among other things:

Saving routes offline
Sending routes to Garmin Drive and BMW Connected, among others
Generating and driving A to B twisting routes by following the route line

Am I the only one confused? The new MRA Mobile App 3.1 is confusing me. I use the MRA Navigator as a GPS for running pre-planned routes. It sounds like the new Mobile App is taking over some (or eventually all) of those functions?

Can someone clarify purpose and differences between the Mobile App and the Navigator?

@doug-robinson MRA Mobile is a free app that’s primarily used for tracking and taking photos along the way. You can also plan routes and navigate using a simple follow the line system. It will also connect to your route library and allow you to edit your routes and them send them to your navigation device.
It is by no means a replacement for MRA Navigation.

I thought the new MRA Mobile app was to replace the older MRA Navigation app? I have been a lifetime subscriber for a very long time and this is starting to get confusing. I was about to delete the old MRA Navigation app from my phone and rely only on the new MRA Mobile app. Up until this year I used a TomTom Rider but wanted to leave a device home and planned on moving over to the new mobile app. Is that not the case? So confused here.

The MRA Mobile app is just an update of the old MRA Mobile app. It does not replace MRA Navigation.
