@highlandparker, I "kind of" already use the app that way. I often make a long trip, and think up some shortcuts in advance. At a decision point I use a shaping point, attach the cube-icon to it, and add a note to it that says something like: "If it is getting late, skip to WP 23, it saves you 40 minutes and 50km." That works pretty good. But it can always work better I think it would be nice if an alternative route could be made, and at such a decision point you could simple get a dialog "tap blue for the original route and red for the alternative, it wil save you 40 minutes and 50km." On the other hand, it is a kind of luxury problem.

@Con-Hennekens I hate this, I have to use an App to find the time slot where the price is best, so you watch the up and down a hole day and jump off to the station and before you grip the gas pistol it changes again. Sorry off topic.

@Michael-Rhys I’ll leave the glove part as it is. There are solutions for that. As for offline driving, it should work as you described. I can’t verify that. Maybe this translation is better. There are indeed several findings pointing in that direction. Now we just need the solution...

@Corjan-Meijerink thank you, I do hope you are able to make the improvements. I already find MRA very effective with the dedicated CarPlay Chigee and every small improvement makes the system even better. I need my iPhone for medical use so for me mounting the smartphone on the handlebars is not an option, I need to use CarPlay. @Con-Hennekens i think i found a way. if i make a straight route in app (in dutch bestemming en recht) i can make route. then went i want to add pertrol station i select 3 dots (right under) and select add stop and search for petrol stations.
