Avoid Highways when rout is loaded
-
The following use case:
I load a route and click on “Navigate.” The route starts. At that moment, I realize that I forgot to click on “Avoid highways.”
Since I cannot change this during navigation, I have to cancel the navigation.
I stop the route and am then asked, “Continue navigation?”
If I click on “Navigate” again, I am back on the route as before, so I cannot change anything. To avoid highways, I have to click on “No” at this point and reselect the route from the menu. Only then can I go to the point where I can deselect ‘Highways’ under “Avoidances.”
In this case, it would be much more user-friendly if you could either select “Avoid highways” while the route is still loading (as was previously possible with TomTom Rider), or if, after cancelling and continuing navigation, you had the option to select avoidance options such as highways.

Hey Jürgen, I had that too, Corjan then nicely explained that the navigation is on "Navigate routes as track", I set it to off then the route options are also available again

Hi Hubert, you misunderstand my suggestion. Read it again. I am missing nothing.
Bytheway, my name is Jörgen. -
—
Addendum: After leaving the route and the confirmed no, simply go to last route at the top right in the menu, then after loading on Navigate then the options are available to you before you press start again. -
Thank you, the way to this is clear for me. But not what I like to have.

@Jörgen, changing road preferences would make sense for A2B routes (direct to destination indeed.
