Adding an additional stop to a route you're driving

When I am driving, things will change.. A planned route is a guideline

Sometimes i would simply want to search for a cafe/bar/restaurant and add that to the planned route I am driving.
I have not been able to find a solution for that without switching to Google Maps. Any ideas on this?

Search for a POI and adding does not seems to be an option.

@Edwin_M Tap the navigation menu while navigating (3 dots bottom right) and choose Add stop.

@Nick-Carthew that is not available when following a pre-planned route

I guess you are then navigating (a route as) a track.
Track navigation does not support adding stops.

@Corjan-Meijerink ah, apparantly I was. Just tested as route, Then the option is available.
