@Corjan-Meijerink I decided to use the Beta to see how it works with Android Auto to be able to use it on my trip to France in two weeks time. It works fine driving the car. I agree that it would be a good thing to be able to select an other route from AA. What I missed is the little hand in the upper right corner te skip a way point. Hopefully I just have to wait untill it is incorporated by you. Before the trip to France I will go on a motorcycle tour and then test some more. I'm sure I'll be a happy biker. Compliments to the great work you all did.

It looks like somehow Next does not recover correctly from a breach in internet connectivity. It does not go offline, but does not restart the connectivity once available again (or something like that, I am guessing here). In the next version changes will be made to online/offline switching, so with any luck it will be covered.

@Con-Hennekens : Hey Con, ja ist wohl so, heute habe ich nach ca. 250km dann doch eine andere BMW App für die restlichen 100km, im Weserbergland genutzt die ich über das BMW Handrad zum Zoomen nutzen kann, um auf der Reststrecke dann doch mal links oder rechts schnell zu sehen wo es noch mehr Kurven gibt. Ich hoffe das die Bedienung über das BMW Handrad noch sehr hoch in der Prioritätenliste liegt, sonst muss ich solange eine andere App nutzen, wäre schade … finde die MyRoute App schon sehr gut aber das Thema Zoomen / Bedienung fehlt mit sehr. Wie schon oben geschrieben, ich denke das steht bei sehr vielen Kunden / Usern oben auf der Wunschliste.. ! In diesem Sinne morgen gehs rund durchs Weserbergland.

@Bart-DM That's the problem - there isn't an explicit log about this We don't know the exact cause so we can't simply add a log and isn't an obvious error that is logged by default

@Kenneth-de-Miranda that happens when your location loses focus by for example dragging the map. This has to be reset by the exact action you did. We aim to automatically reset the camera once you start moving again.

@Corjan-Meijerink aha, ok thanks! Did not see this reply so mentioned the same issue today. I will be going on a 3 week road-trip wit MRA and Apple CarPlay mid June, so hopefully some more will be available then, but as a system architect my self I appreciate the complexity of system design and development. Keep up the good work, I’ve recommended the MRA product to quite a few roadster friends.

Hi, I had the same issue today (may 29th). No WiFi but I did have a weak 5G signal, I was asked to login but the system could not handle the authentication setting that my account was expired … back at home, alls is well again.

I was having the same problem with the waypoints skipping ahead, several at a time. then the route would change to take me to that point. I could see the waypoint on the road I wanted to take but the route line was bypassing it. I also had the problem with the GPS not keeping up with my location. I also agree that the distance font could be bigger and the ETA font could be smaller.

@Whinging-Biker, By signing up for the lifetime you "earn" access to the beta. For that to actually happen you need to follow the instructions your received from MyRoute-App in your mail. Your google or iCloud account needs to be configured to access the beta.
