@Jack-van-Tilburg CarPlay staat in zijn kinderschoenen... en moet eigenlijk nog volledig doorontwikkeld worden. De programmeurs hebben eerst hun focus op de app gelegd en na de release ga ik er van uit dat CarPlay en Android Auto wat meer aandacht zullen krijgen en dus alsmaar beter zullen werken en meer opties/mogelijkheden zullen krijgen

@Corjan-Meijerink klopt inderdaad, de modus stond (nog) ingesteld op fietsen; dank voor het antwoord.

@Doug-Robinson today I had a lot of trouble with the location indicator. It looked like was in a helicopter it switched from left to right and from top to bottom but not on the route. GPS in maps worked fine. I was riding as last and the app had to do lots of recalculating.

@Doug-Robinson thanks! 1: can happen after multiple recalculations 2: could very well be - issue is resolved for most but some (especially android) still have some minor delay 3: working on it this week 4: reset auto zoom: click on compass again

@Patrick-Langlet, There have been upgrades to the skipping algorithm since the last update, which will likely prevent skipping waypoints too far ahead. Please update and check the route again. If you want closer similarity to the original route you will need to place more shaping points. Next will simply reroute you to the next waypoint the quickest way. That's by design. It is not uncommon, for scenic routes, to place shaping points every 2 or 3 km depending on the availability of alternative options.

@Jörgen, Does that do what you hope it will do? I think it is more about road closures concerning maintenance and road works, or even blockage by accidents, not about prohibited for motorcycles in weekends but not on other days.

@Corjan-Meijerink, I replied this in another thread about it, might be useful to copy that here too: The "homograph" problem is really an IOS bug and typical for German language. But please try this as a workaround: Einstellungen - Bedienungshilfen - Voice Over - Beschriftungsbereich (ganz unten) - deaktiviere das Can you please check if the problem goes away? (I found it here: https://communities.apple.com/de/thread/254066932)

@Dikke-Wim, True! Actually I generated some proof of my bandwidth not being used at all some time after initializing an update. There is something that breaks the update, mainly if it is a lot at once. It is being studied by the MRA team. You can place a moving icon there (which is a good idea to trigger some patience in human beings ) but it would actually say nothing about progress.
