@manfred-okunneck I have the Garmin Zumo XT. There are 2 different options for the the XT GPX1.2 (Route, Track, POI) Using this GPX Type you will only see the VIA Points “Stops” on the Map. The full route is available based on the Shaping Points but they are not shown on the XT Map. GPX1.1 (Route, Track, POI) will display both the Via Points and Shaping points on the XT Map. I have no idea on the Garmin Camper 890 but there are members and Admins on the Forum here that will be able to guide you on the correct GPX types to use for that device.

@mtc-tet-club Hi MTC-TET, we use the group function and events the same way with MTC-Zeilberg. What you can do as a workaround, find the person who wants to participate in the event, check if they have routes or tracks that are public. If so, you can leave a comment in one of the routes or tracks.

@pad-0 said in MRA Navigation and downloaded maps.: @con-hennekens Could the terrain, roads and traffic conditions we usually inhabit inform our varied navigation habits, perhaps? I think your comparison of circumstances is quite correct. However I am living in the far south (as far as you can speak of that in the Netherlands ) with German Eifel and Belgium Ardennes in less than an hour drive away. I have been riding for years without audible guidance, so I am probably more used to do without it than many others. But in my experience, the more unpredictable the road gets, the better it is to look at the map at your own chosen time. That gives you knowledge about the road ahead and prevents having to look at the screen when it is necessary to have eyes on the road. I ride in landscape mode, so I have better sight on side roads too.

@alan-hilton For most other devices from Garmin and TomTom you can use any of the GPX-options that includes a track and then make sure to use the track instead of the route.

@con-hennekens I have asked Sygic again about the route import. Here the answer: Yes, this route import is in the plan for the development. Although, we would like to ask for your patience, as we can't confirm when, or even promise it will be added to the app anytime soon.*

I do like the fact that a copy is made that is shared in an event. And it does indeed take some getting used to. With regard to making the track visible in MRA navigation, this may be included in further development.

@cristiano-repetti @cristiano-repetti said in App navigator iOS: can not calculate route message: Only these 2 software are able to do that, actually. I would add: on condition that the navigator is stable, and makes full use of all the routeplanner features and vice versa. In my opinion the TomTom desktop planner is quite limited.

@jack-van-tilburg I agree. It is usually a bad idea to work directly with your "historical" routes as the risk is high that you would unintentionaly change them. Your approach is much safer.

@sven-v As far as I know it's not possible to do what you want in MRA But.... there is a workaround Let's say you have a route with waypoints 1 to 6 and you want to set a winding route level between waypoint 3 and 4. Proceed: 1.- Make a route A from 1 to 3 2.- Make a route B from 3 to 4 and set winding route level as you want. Expand that route to more points (dependint how long is). Let's say you expand to 40 waypoints 3.- Make a route C from 4 to 6 Now, join all the routes and the trip 3 to 4 will keep the route designed with the winding level you choosed
