When using the MRA app with AndroidAuto I miss the button to skip a waypoint. This is very unhandy, as I the app tries to send me to the missed waypoint. On my phone it is possible to skip a waypoint and it would be convenient to have this option in AA.

I think that is possible.
When you tap the screen you get a number of symbols on the right side; including one to toggle between the full route and the normal navigation view; one to skip waypoint and one to go to the zoom function.
If you click on the skip symbol, the bottom left of the screen will ask if you want to skip the next point (point number X).
Unfortunately I do not have a picture of this symbol at hand.
