MRA instead of Komoot
-
I am not happy anymore with Komoot (change of owner). MRA seems to be a good replacement candidate. But it seems to be ideal for motor biking. I am a Moutainbike and trail biker with e-bike and I am curious whether this apps are good for this. All th routes and trails are versus motorbiking. Can you recommend MRA for mountain bikers and why?

@Richard-Veraguth
To be honest I think MRA is more focussed to Motorbike/Cars/Campers.
You cannot make routes and look at elevation profiles.
Also import of TCX/FIT etcetra is not possible.
I think outdooractive.com is a good replacement for Komoot and more focused on moutainbiking etc. -
@Richard-Veraguth hmmm - MRA-Routeplanner and MyRoute-App includes several different maps. Also OpenTopoMap and OpenCycleMap.
Because I can use it also for hiking, caravannig and travelling by car or by motorbike - it's my "Swiss Army Knife". So, I have all my tours together in one tool, and I don't need to learn a lot for operating other additional tools. I love it.But for sure, there are more specific tools for each vehicle and for each purpose on the market. But is it worthy?

@Guzzist
Opentopomap and cycle map are just openstreetmap with another style.
MRA is great at making routes, but lacks a lot of tools a a cyclist uses,for example a elevation profile when making routes.
Not to metion hartrate, cadence and other data a cyclist wants to use.
