I never recognized this automatic switch of navigation mode...
To be honest: me neither
But it seems very handy. If you disable "routes as tracks", HERE routes wile be navigated like always, and OSM/TT routes will automatically be navigated as tracks, which is the clever choice for those.

Right, that would be an option. In this case, however, I wanted to show the complete screen to make it clear how and where the message appears

Exactly how I intended it to be.
We force track navigation as it works great now and it's the only sensible choice for OSM / TomTom routes
