Beginner Question, Handlebar Navigation
-
My apologies if this has been asked many times. I have been a heavy user of the MyRoute website for the last six years, and I always converted my routes and loaded them into my Harley Road Glide Boom Box display. It worked great, including my round trip coast-to-coast trip across the US, including all of Route 66. But now I am riding a smaller H-D Heritage Classic and will mount my iPhone on the handle bars. I have occasionally logged on to the MyRoute app over the years to slightly modify a route, but I have never used it for navigation.
I thought MyRoute had a different app for navigation, but it now appears to me that there is just one app to create, edit, and navigate a route. Is that correct?

The Myroute Web Routeplanner can be used and accessed from the app on your smartphone.
MRA Next is the navigation tool which is built-in the same smartphone app. But can only be used if you have a subscription for it. This is not the same subscription as for MyRoute Routeplanner. -
@Sam-Kramer correct. “MyRoute-app” is the all-in-one app. To navigate you need “Navigation Next” as subscription.

@Corjan-Meijerink
I guess I must already have "Navigation Next," because it appears I can navigate from the app. As an experiment, I created a route on the website, made a minor adjustment (added a shaping point) on the app, and then successfully navigated the route.I looked around in my settings but could not see what subscription I have. I know I have MyRoute Gold.

@Sam-Kramer if you can navigate, you have Navigation Next, or a trial for that.
You can check on myrouteapp.com/account

Nevermind, I just found it. I am a Lifetime member for both MRA Routeplanner Gold and for Navigation Next.
Thanks for the response.
