The blues continues, how are we coping?

Hi All,
Corona is still there, despite that life continues. How are you coping with this?We decided to cancel our holidays to the South of France (the regionale is marker Red nowadays), but are currently touring and camping in Luxembourg. Another week to go, but enjoying and 1.5 meter is no issue as it’s quite quite over here..
Take care and stay safe!

@Dragbert Here in the UK, we are starting to see a rise in reported cases again. We’ve had around a thousand new cases a day reported for the last month or so, but I think complacency has set in among the younger generation and yesterday’s number was three thousand new cases reported!
We were due to leave for our annual holiday in May which was obviously cancelled and have decided to stay local this year And just have day rides. we are very lucky to live in a great part of the UK for riding, we have Exmoor, Dartmoor and some great coastal roads all in our doorstep.
Currently, I have scaffolding up at my cottage as I decided to do some long awaited renovations. I’d rather be on tour somewhere with spectacular scenery and thrilling roads, but I shall have a good feeling when the cottage is finished, and something good will have come from C19!
Enjoy the rest of your camping, but above all else, stay safe. -
@Dragbert Hai Dagbert,
In Belgium, we cope (ore or less) and the number of cases fluctuates at the same pace as the goverment strengthens or weakens the anti-corona measures.
Unfortunately, we also have a bunch of idiots that ignore all measures, or even worse, use the situation to organise riots at public places.
Otherwise, covid also gives opportunities to do those things we have in our "todo backpack" since a long time; My garden has never been so polished
Hence, it is what it is and making the best of it in a safe way is what it takes

@Dragbert Good to hear you're having a good time! Next week the temperatures are expected to go back to tropical here in the Netherlands, I hope you get to a enjoy a bit of that too.
For me, I've only taken a long weekend off the past few weeks. I cope with work and trying to have social activities within the accepted bandwith of 1.5 meters. I notice it's becoming harder, because a lot of people are getting the sniffles and coughs as flu season is creeping closer.
In fact, I'm currently in a (hopefully small) lockdown myself, because both me and my girlfriend got the cold. It's a very strange experience, to imagine that my sniffles could potentially be deadly to someone. We did the test yesterday and are now waiting for the results.
