Recommencing navigation
-
I am new to MRA but generally familiar with navigation apps and some of their idiosyncrasies.
In order to familiarise myself with the MRA app I have done several test routes. Most latterly a 150 mile route with about 30 shaping points. I had the MRA app connected to Android Auto and it was working fine but I decided to stop for a break (slightly off route at a service station) at about 75 miles so disconnected my phone which disrupted the progress of the navigation. On resuming the journey, MRA asked if I wanted to resume navigation to which I clicked YES.
But it wanted me to go back to the beginning and I noticed the next way point top right was number 1.
I then deleted the 15 or so preceding waypoints (one by one!) before my current position on the route so the app showed my next waypoint as 16. So off I went again.
My question is:
Is there a preferred protocol for recommencing your journey? Such as pressing a pause button somewhere or an instruction to recommence route at the nearest point etc?
I have GOLD to give me full access to all functionality.
With thanks -

Hi Peter,
Thank you. That makes sense. I assumed there must be a protocol for this common eventuality.
I understood that MRA designers were rather proud about the compatibility of the app with both IOS Carplay and Android Auto.
As it happens I did this journey in the car but will normally be doing it on the GS.
