Lifetime subscription

Hi. Can’t seem to find the answer I’m looking for so thought on asking here.

I currently have a monthly subscription for both gold and the app. I’m thinking of going for the lifetime subscription.

Question in have is whether or not I first need to cancel my monthly subscription before I purchase the lifetime one.
