POI create personal list

New here, can't really find how to generate my own POI-list visible between all my routes.
Have succeeded with the task to uploaded an already created list to my (what I believe is) personal POI library.Am I missing something?

Have succeeded with the task to uploaded an already created list to my (what I believe is) personal POI library.Am I missing something?
- click on a waypoint
- click on the 3 dots on the pop up
- click on the star
- give a meaninful name in the new pop up
- confirm
