      It doesn't matter if I use a shaping point or a via point, when I export the route as a pdf, the "steps list" continuously says, "You have arrived at your destination" when in fact, I have only arrived at the next turn. For example:

      Turn left onto Elk Run Rd. Go for 19 yd.
      4. Arrive at Elk Run Rd. Your destination is on the right.
      5. Head toward E Shambaker Rd on Elk Run Rd. Go for 1.0 mi.
      6. Continue on Cedar Mountain Rd. Go for 1.2 mi.
      7. Arrive at Cedar Mountain Rd. Your destination is on the left.

      What do I need to do to eliminate the constant "You have arrived at your destination" while on the route?

        @Barb-Miller that can’t be eliminated 🙂
        We would need to manually adjust that but it is caused by the fact that the routing engine (not ours) treats all intermediate waypoints as “destinations” for the instruction list.
