I am a new basic user and thinking of adding the Next Navigator module but unsure of what it does.
Is it necessary to input a pre-planned track or route? Or does it function like a regular satnav as well so that you only need to input a destination?

John@John-Roberts-0 both are true. You can use it with a planned route and as aA to B navigation. For A to B navigation you can also choose the kind of ride you want, quick or curvy
