MRA route differs when exported to BMW connected app
-
MRA is my go to app for route planning and love the idea of being able to export it to the connected app, not every bike I use has the bmw navigation.
My problem is that when I export a mra route (made with here maps) to the connected app, the route changes, the route will suddenly vear off on a random route, only to rejoin at the next waypoint. The way I overcome this is by adding more waypoints that I must visit.
Is this a here (mra) and Tom Tom ((connected app) map incompatibility problem.
I would like to carry on using here maps as I also use the bmw nav5 . -
@rcs
Use the TomTom map because the connected App and the CRN uses the TomTom map and technology -

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MR-MRA Thanks for getting back. I thought this could be the solution, will be a bit of a pain having the 2 types of maps but if they are well organised within my library then it should be ok. Its only when I get given a map in GPX format that i will have to save as a tom tom map, otherwise i can just make a map in tom tom and use that.

@Hubert-Thoring Thanks, if i am making the route then this is possible, the problem arises when i get given the route and there are more than the 50 WP's. But then i suppose i can just use my trusty old navigator 5.
