@Lenny-O said in In the Route Planner - how can I see a Route as a track?:

I would like to see the same Route I am viewing as a track (just not see the waypoints).

@RetiredWingMan is completely right as there are only workarounds for this at the moment. But just a clarification here:

If you show the route as @RetiredWingMan said by adding it to an empty route, it is not added "as a route" but instead as a track! That does exactly what you like to do, however it cannot be done "in your own open route" so to say.You always need a new empty route to show it in.

You may also try this one: save your route as a gpx 1.1 track only and upload it back into your account. Using the same method you can add the track into the route you just saved. This is the only option which enables you to show your route as a track in the same active screen since you add "a different entity" into your route, which is not the case when adding your route to your route.... Hmm sounds confusing, but you get it haha!

Hope that helps... We'll have to be patient for the Devs to pick up the routeplanner re-design which promises a lot of nice features, even more than we already have now. 🙂

Edit: I just thought of another workaround, instead of saving your route as a gpx track file, just simply copy your existing route in your account. Since it is not possible to add your route to itself, adding the copy is possible! Why did I never think of this before.
Doing so shows your route and "track" of the copy in the same route screen.

All the above just to "hide the waypoints" haha!
