Calculating route time on a kml export to Google

hello all, I have created a route on MRA using an existing recommended route and it gives me a travel time of 10 hours to do 300km (on a motorcycle) It is in the alps so I am not expecting a very high average speed, but I am expecting more than 30kph - so I exported the route as a KML and imprted into google to get a second opinion - so I can see the route in Google but it doesn't show me the travel time - anyone know how I can do this? thanks
@riccardo-brizzi, Maybe there are planned stops in your route? That adds to the total time. Like this:

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebar to the saddle.

@riccardo-brizzi Please share your route here, make sure to have the route privacy setting set to public, as wel as any (nested) folder that the route is located in!
That way we can also have a look at the route itself and look for anomalies.

@riccardo-brizzi The privacy setting of a route can be set at multiple places, but for now the easiest is setting it in this menu when your route is open:
A folder privacy setting can be changed here (note that this must be done for each nested folder that is encountered before reaching your route):
Then afterwards click the share button here:
and share us the "link"...Manks bu'j te bange.

@riccardo-brizzi, I think a total distance of 300km in under 7 hours not very unlikely with all those mountain passes.

@riccardo-brizzi Well surely you can try to use Google but I've checked your route also in TomTom (after I added two waypoints to make route identical for both maps) and both maps report almost the same total time.
- HERE: 9h54min 297.68km
- TomTom: 9h58min, 298.24km
I checked in my own routes in Google MyMaps and for none of the tracks it can give me the total driving time, except the track length. Unfortunately my work internet does not allow me to play with it here so for now I can't check anything further. I do however trust that driving 300km in about 7h is quite optimistic considering the amount of twisties you're about to encounter. An average speed of 40kmu is okay, which comes down to about 8h of continuous driving
I merely use Google MyMaps and TomTom MyDrive to check for roadworks...

@Con-Hennekens don't disagree but would still like to know if there is a way to import a route into google maps and be able to see a time? Personally once I get this round trip sorted I will want to bring it into Waze which is my go to app (mainly because of the safety information re speed traps

@riccardo-brizzi I think in order for Google Maps to give you a time, it requires to be in the navigation mode, which from what I recall is not possible with pre-defined routes.
The Google MyMaps tool is only to show a map with your route or track, but cannot enable you to navigate the route using GM.
