Navigation event option
-
Hello, a question: when creating an event, it used to be, in the past, that, when clicking on the Navigation Event option, that tracklogs were automatically added to the event when it was driven.
Is it me, or does this not work anymore?

@Albert-Renting
When creating the event, there is an option to organize this.
I think there is a check box asking if it is a navigation event.
You can also place a check mark afterwards. If you choose to edit the event, the check box will be at the top right of the screen. -

It all in: manual-events -

Hello Jack, I am aware of this option and I use it as well, only, after having driven the event route, I have to add the tracklog manually to the event!
In the past this tracklog was added automatically!
The tracklog would appear under 'Tijdlijn'

@Albert-Renting
Could it not be that the track log ridden on 24 - 02 is added? That is the start date of your event.
The other screenshot shows the option to "also". manually add tracks. -
@Jack-van-Tilburg
Hello Jack, I am aware that the pictures I included are from events in the future, so there is no Tracklog (yet) for this event. The pictures were only to 'clarify' my intentions.But, past events had the problem that I had to add the Tracklog manually to the event while in the past this happened automatically (when the box was checked beforehand)

Since there have been no changes to the MRA Planner for quite some time, it is unlikely that the cause lies there. I have pointed out the obvious causes. If they are not, you will probably have to look for the cause somewhere in your own settings. That becomes difficult with something that is in the past.
I would then do a test myself with a new event. Unless you can point out that this not functioning appeared after a known new version of the NavApp? -
@Jack-van-Tilburg
Hello Jack, same thing happened yesterday after driving an event; I had to manually add the tracklog while the Navigation event box was checked.
If I recall correctly, this started when the 'new' MyRouteapp was introduced, so a long time ago!
When it was still the 'old' version, MyRoute-app Navigation, it worked fine. -
@Albert-Renting said in Navigation event option:

That seems like a clear indication.
Let's wait for responses from other NAV users here. Otherwise it might be better if you create a support ticket.
(maybe @Corjan-Meijerink reads along) -
Correct! This was not used as much and therefore it hasn’t been added in the new app.
I will put this up for discussion again. -
@Corjan-Meijerink
Okay, so, I was not imagining this.
I did use it a lot and am now manually adding the Tracklogs to my events after I've ridden them.If it can not be re-implemented, perhaps remove the option from the settings?
-
@Albert-Renting yeah exactly. We will either implement it in the app, or remove the option
