Waypoint icons

I am new to forum, Sorry if this has been discussed perviously. Would it be possible to add more waypoint icons into the waypoint list such as these, it would help with the viewing of the route. Can I add them myself or is it the app designer who has to add them. DENNIS DOBSON

No you can not change the icons.
But you can add icons to your point at the route in the planner.

Personally, I think that's enough.
I only use a few of them and have to search through all those icons. You won't make me happy with more.

@Dennis-Dobson I agree with @Jack-van-Tilburg. Having so many icons to indicate things on your route doesn't make it more clear. In my opinion, the list as it is now is complete enough. Why would you want to indicate a bridge or a tunnel in your route? If there's something special to see at a particular bridge, for example, you can still indicate that with the 'Viewpoint' icon combined with a hand (with or without a color).

Some of those icons are available as POI icons. While you can't place these yourself, you can have them appear on your route.

Die van de snelweg wordt ook gebruikt, handig om te zien of er stukken snelweg in de route zitten

Iconen toevoegen in MRA is leuk, maar als je ze vervolgens niet ziet op je device (in mijn geval een Garmin Zumo XT2) heb je er niks aan.

Ik heb een tooltje geschreven om ze aan de gpx toe te voegen. Dit zou ik wel in MRA willen hebben:

@Emile-3, jij hebt een reuze interessant tooltje op je website staan! Niet voor mij persoonlijk, want ik gebruik de MRA app voor navigatie, en daar zijn die symbolen initieel voor bedoeld. Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat wat jij hebt gemaakt nagenoeg 1op1 toepasbaar is de MRA webplanner. Lijkt me een waardevolle aanvulling van de planner functionaliteit.
