Streckenführung über das Meer

Hallo,
bei der Routenplanung von A nach B werde ich teilweise über das offene Meer geführt. Das kann ja wohl nich sein.
Bitte um Hilfe!

Yes, please share your route. If I just create a direct route from Bruchsal to Reggio Calabria, I get what I would expect, a route that looks like this:

We didn't ask for a screenshot?It will help if you post a link to your route so that we can take a look.
Don't forget to set the privacy of the route to 'Public'.
And indicate the waypoint number where it goes wrong. -
@Wolfgang-Horn There is a ferry service from Salerno to Messina on Sicily (followed by a ferry from Messina to Reggio Calabria) which apparently TomTom thinks will take you there faster than using secondary roads over land. If you also tell MRA to avoid ferries, you'll get a fully overland route. Or just add more waypoints.

@Wolfgang-Horn, The trick is in the "No Highway". If I force the route over land, I need two extra waypoints, and the route-time increases by over 2,5 hours. So, it seems by boat is quicker than over land if you avoid highways in that area. According to the TomTom map anyways...

I think it would be a good idea if TS delves into creating a route? Why doesn't a route do what you want if you only put two waypoints on the map?Ich denke, es wäre eine gute Idee, wenn TS sich mit der Erstellung einer Route befassen würde? Warum macht eine Route nicht das, was Sie wollen, wenn Sie nur zwei Wegpunkte auf der Karte platzieren?

You cannot create a route with only two waypoints if you want to avoid certain parts.
Do as mentioned above by @Con-Hennekens and add more waypoints. -
