I love this new feature but would it be possible to move the notification for it to the right side of the screen under the next waypoint instead of having it overwrite the location for following turn. If you have 2 turns close together it makes it impossible to know what that next turn is because it is overwritten by the gas station location information.

@Edgar-Uhl great to hear you like the feature!
If the second instruction follows very quickly after the first, that will be displayed rather than the fuel station.

These parameters can be tweaked (by us). If you don’t like how it works, please provide an example scenario where the second instruction wasn’t shown while you expected it 🙂

@Edgar-Uhl, for me 99.9% of what I need to know comes from the routeline itself. That's the only thing that shows where you need to go without any compromise. I am often surprised that so many people seem to look at the 2nd next turn at all 😉

I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

          hi @Con-Hennekens

i agree, the blue line is my forward thinking and planning aid.

i have disabled the next turn (2nd turn) feature, as personally i do not see the benefit, but i am sure others do use it, but i imagine it can lead to confusion at times.

i also ignore the yellow lane instructions as they too can be incorrect,

to achieve, we must first attempt ✌️

My idea for displaying the next gas station on the tour and displaying the next but one instruction: You could use the "Time and Duration" display to show the next gas station. This would then be the fourth option alongside destination, next shaping point and next via point. Depending on personal importance, you can put together your "optimal setup"... Just my two cents

@paul69, yes the lane assistance can be wrong indeed... I captured this one this morning 😉

"Choose whatever lane you like!" 🤣

                hi @Con-Hennekens

i have never understood what the yellow and white/grey lane assist arrows are attempting to inform me of.

sometimes i see 4 arrows with mixture of yellow and white/grey, but this is not a true example of the actual road i am on, this is why i have stopped using them as a navigation aid, as i believe it can be quite distracting or even dangerous to a point.

maybe someone will be able to explain their meaning and use.

@paul69, I sometimes see some unexpected pictures, like the one above, but I must say in general they are pretty accurate. The intention of the aid that the lane(s) to be followed are the yellow ones. In some occasions the aid might be one step ahead and , while waiting for the green light in my example above, the aid already moved on to the next turn if it is really close. That might be an explanation for when the lane-assist shows a situation that is clearly not the one in front of you.

Most (Android) phones take a screenshot when pressing the volume-down and power button simultaneously. Pasting it here might help deducting what's happening. But safety first, of course! 😉

                    thanks @Con-Hennekens

TBF i actually do understand what the yellow arrows are attempting to inform me of, it's just on occasion they do not make any sense, and that is what i was trying to explain.
it may make a person swap lanes at the last minute, or find they need to get into lane that has a central reservation in the way, such as at major junctions etc

if i see it again i will try to take screen shot, but no doubt it will never happen again 🤣
it's all a learning curve, but this app is still the best out there, once you get used to using it.

@paul69 it’s true that these can be incorrect unfortunately 😞

                      In general:

                      • yellow: highly recommended (best option taking the next turn into account)
                      • white: recommended (regardless of next turn or no extra info available)
                      • grey: should not be taken, simply indicating the presence of that lane

                      That’s it 🙂
